Half year montage
The half year montage, a real time sequence in Cyberpunk 2077. I was responsible for the environments of the scenes. It was a close collaboration to coordinate it between Carles and Kajetan. I had a chance to share my own ideas and give my own take to help with the story telling in the environments. This was quite a challenge to make it work in real time with the streaming.

A sequence that follows your character introduction, freshly arrived in Night city. It is a montage of the next six monthes of merc work as you become friend with Jackie Welles.
Because you can see the player created character, we made the whole thing in real time. It was quite a challenge to make the streaming load in such a fast pace.
I was responsible for the environments of the montage. Each scene were optimized and close to each others to facilitate streaming.
Some set were created just for the montage like the welles house, some were taken from existing places in the city. Here a mirror trick (the place is mirrored, and the mirror is just a glass).
This street is somewhere in Nightcity if you can find it.
Notice the shotgun and ammos, with a notch count next to the door of mama Welles. She is also an avid reader.
